Brief

A discount retailer needed two winter slipper styles at an entry price point, with tight landing windows before the cold season. Both had to pass the chain's own warmth and slip tests.

What we did

• Developed two fleece-lined closed-toe styles from existing moulds to cut tooling time
• Ran pre-production samples in 8 days for buyer approval
• Locked 260 GSM anti-pill fleece and tested slip resistance through a third-party lab
• Shipped in three waves of roughly 12,600 pairs each

Outcome

The programme ran to plan at 38,000 pairs for the season, with follow-on orders for the next winter buying cycle.
